Product description
Lightspeed Zulu 4 ANR Aviation Headset — Dual GA Plugs
More comfort. More clarity. More flexibility. The Zulu 4 builds on the legacy of the best-selling Zulu series with next-generation FrameFit™ ear seals, AI-enhanced Bluetooth vocal isolation, and dual multipoint Bluetooth — all wrapped in the same rugged stainless steel and magnesium construction pilots have trusted for years. Backed by a 7-year warranty.
Next-Gen Comfort & Noise Reduction
-
FrameFit™ Ear Seals: Innovative tapered foam pattern — firmer at the bottom, softer at the top — shapes completely around glasses and hat frames to eliminate pressure points and prevent ANR warbling.
-
Large Cup Cavity: Encompasses the entire ear comfortably with no painful pressure against the ear edge.
-
Low-Profile Headband: Stainless steel headband follows the natural curve of the head to distribute weight and side pressure evenly.
-
Superior ANR: Premium active noise reduction across deep low-frequency engine rumble, combined with magnesium ear cups that passively block high-frequency noise.
Maximum Audio Clarity & Cockpit Connectivity
-
Bluetooth Vocal Isolation (AI-Enhanced): Eliminates up to 90% of background cabin noise from outgoing Bluetooth transmissions — phone calls and ATC ground comms sound crystal clear.
-
Dual Multipoint Bluetooth: Connect to two devices simultaneously — stream music on your phone while receiving terrain/traffic alerts from ForeFlight or Garmin Pilot on your tablet.
-
Front Row Center™ (FRC): Proprietary stereo cross-feed technology for rich, high-fidelity audio.
-
Dual Aperture Disc™ Mic: High-performance noise-cancelling microphone with user-adjustable gain for crisp intercom and radio communication.
-
In-Flight Recording: Compatible with the free Lightspeed Aviation App for iPad/iPhone to record all cockpit communications wirelessly over Bluetooth.
Built for the Long Haul
The Zulu 4 is engineered for harsh flight environments — rugged stainless steel and magnesium components paired with tough Kevlar-cored cables that resist kinking and wear. A 10% longer microphone boom allows precise mic placement, and an extended upper cable keeps your cockpit tidy.
ComPriority™ automatically lowers auxiliary audio during active radio transmissions, then eases it back in gently. Auto Shutoff™ preserves battery life when the headset isn’t in use. This Dual GA Plug configuration runs on two AA batteries for up to 40 hours of ANR use.
