Manches à air et cadres

Explore Pilot Shop’s windsocks and frames for New Zealand aviation and recreational flying. This collection brings together replacement windsocks, separate mounting frames and selected windsock-and-frame combinations, with options ranging from compact models to large airport windsocks. Bright orange and orange-and-white striped designs offer a choice for different sites and visibility needs.

The windsock range includes UV-protected nylon, vinyl-coated polyester and extra-long-life options, with reinforced hems and brass grommets on selected models. Materials, dimensions and wind-response specifications vary, so compare the individual listings to choose a windsock suited to your installation and exposure.

Frames include lightweight aluminium designs, steel airport frames and New Zealand-made galvanised options. When pairing a windsock with a frame, match the sock’s throat diameter to the frame size and check the pole dimensions, fittings and attachment requirements. Poles and fastening equipment are not included with many models, while selected combinations include a matching frame and cable ties.

Internally lighted airport frames are also available for installations that require illumination. These models are made to order and operate on 120 volts, so check their electrical requirements and arrange suitable conversion for a New Zealand power supply before installation. Delivery times and additional shipping charges may vary by product.

Choose according to your site’s requirements rather than size alone. The small portable reflective windsock is intended for recreational or decorative use, not long-term outdoor installations or safety-critical applications. Check each product’s specifications and what’s included before ordering your windsock, frame or combination.
