The Airline Transport Pilot Series - Volume 17, ATPL Flight Navigation General
This manual is being written to provide the knowledge required by candidates for the New Zealand Airline Transport Pilot Licence in Flight Navigation General (Aeroplane and Helicopter), AC61.7 syllabus number 38.
This syllabus is primarily based on regional/oceanic/global IFR navigation, as applicable to navigating a multi engine turbine air transport type aeroplane or IFR capable turbine engined helicopter. The syllabus, textbook and ASPEQ examination content presupposes a knowledge and understanding already attained at PPL/CPL/IR levels.
